Jill's Rocket Fuel Smoothie!

Anybody who has been around me for even just a little bit of time knows how much I love this smoothie/veggie juice!

I love it first of all because it is delicious.

But I also love it because it is super-duper PACKED WITH NUTRITION!

Rocket Fuel Smoothie Recipe!

Rocket Fuel Smoothie

Juice Ingredients

  • 4-7 celery stalks
  • 1/2 bunch parsley
  • 1/2 bulb fennel with the long parts
  • small piece of ginger
  • 4-5 cups arugula, kale, collards, chard, spinach or some other dark leafy green
  • 4-5 carrots
  • 1 small beet

(I use an Omega masticating juicer)

Take the veggie juice and add it to a blender. If you have a handheld blender you can add it to a quart-sized jar.

By the way, with that veggie juice, you get about 12-15 servings of veggies!!!!

Then add the following:

Smoothie Ingredients

1 TBSP pure cacao powder

1/2 cup organic matcha tea (brewed for 3 minutes at 165 degrees F)

1 scoop collagen powder

1/4 TSP sea salt

1 TSP Ceylon cinnamon

1/2 banana

1 TSP raw Hive Mix (honey with all the good stuff)

1/2 - 1 cup frozen organic strawberries

1/2 - 1 cup frozen wild blueberries

(phew, that’s a lot of stuff!)

I add all of the above smoothie ingredients to the blender with the fresh veggie juice and I blend. Yumster!!

If you have a handheld blender just add all the stuff to a large (quart-sized) jar and blend with that.

Go forth and have the “Rocket-Fuel Smoothie” regularly and get more energy, better skin, less inflammation, improved overall health, and you might even lose a few pounds!
