Peaceful Power

Most of us expect life to get better.

Hope is a wonderful human emotion that gets us through life in many ways.

But what if life pretty much were to stay the same?

What if you were to continue to feel the same way about yourself, your relationships, your financial situation, your career, and your body?

What if you were stuck in the pattern of believing that how you feel is not within your realm of control?

I wouldn't wish that on you or anyone.

But most people do move through life without ever accessing their inherent power to control their lives.

I know because I have been one of those people for most of my life.

You see, I thought that the way to be happier and more successful was for me to reach my goals and accomplish more and more things.

My happiness and success were based on what the outside world was doing and saying.

But that's all backward.

My success is all about how I feel.

You may think that is naive.

But let me explain.

If your success is reliant on the outside world; what other people do or say, how much money is in your bank account, or the accolades you receive, that is outside of your control.

Do you want to leave your happiness and success up to other people or outside circumstances that you know you can't control?

I certainly don't.

And, if you want true success, you cannot do that.

It's not possible.

It is not possible to be truly happy and successful when your success and happiness rely on things or people you cannot control.

So..... what's a girl to do?

You have to be the source of your happiness and success.

You ARE the source of your happiness and success.

You have to turn inward and rely on yourself.

You have to tap into your immense personal power.

There are 4 things you can do to access and utilize your power.

  1. Commitment - commit to doing what it takes to access your power
  2. Meditation - work your main power muscle - your mind
  3. Mindfulness - be aware throughout the day of your thoughts, your words, and how you feel
  4. Perspective - question the status quo, be in appreciation and presence, and know your priorities

It's okay if you are not ready to live the life of your design.

It's okay if you don't want to make the effort (sometimes making tough decisions) to be fully happy.

But if you are unhappy with your life or you just want to feel better, there is a way.

If you have days where you feel overwhelmed or out of control and you know you can do better, there is a way.

If you are tired of accommodating other people to fit their needs, there is a way.

If you find yourself complaining about one or more people repeatedly, there is definitely a way.

If you want to feel your best - feeling peaceful, powerful, confident, sexy, healthy, strong, abundant, at-ease, and other good juicy stuff - there is absolutely a way!
