When it comes to losing weight we need all the tricks and hacks we can get.

I have found that there are certain diet foods that are appealing, tasty, nutritious, AND for various reasons, they can help make the weight loss process easier.

Some of these diet foods are rich in protein and easy to make. Others are rich in fiber and add texture.

Each of the following foods has some special quality that makes it a secret weapon food for losing weight.

All of the following diet foods are both NUTRITIOUS & DELICIOUS!

I recommend incorporating the ones that you like into your diet.

Diet Foods

Shrimp: This yummy food is a dieter’s dream (assuming you like shrimp) for the following reasons.

Turkey: Who doesn’t love turkey?

Beans: Beans, beans, they’re good for your heart…..

Peas: They’re similar to beans but….

Cucumber: Ladies, this is a fruit!

Artichoke Hearts: Buy them jarred in water

Berries: They are soooooo good for you!

Quinoa: Wait, don’t judge…

*Pro-tip: Cook up some onions with a little broth until they are soft and almost caramelized. Then add the quinoa and cook in broth or water and some sea salt. This will make for some pretty delicious quinoa!
